Dump both cans of apple pie filling into the slow cooker.
Dump cake mix evenly over pie filling.
Place sliced butter on top of the cake mix.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4-5 hours. Time will vary based on the slow cooker.
Top with vanilla ice cream if your heart desires… highly recommended!
Notes
*If you can’t find spiced cake mix, you can use 1 box yellow cake mix and add 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ tsp ground nutmeg, ½ teaspoon ground clove.
