Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is by far the best recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies! Soft baked, the perfect balance of chocolate, and practically impossible to mess up with my help!
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugars together.
Next add in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Stir until light in color.
Now slowly incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt. Scrape the sides of the bowl and mix again to ensure a well-mixed dough.
Lastly, stir in the chocolate chips by hand. And that’s the cookie dough!
Preheat your oven to 325 and line your baking sheets with parchment paper. While your oven is preheating let your dough rest.
Scoop cookie dough onto pans using a two-tablespoon cookie scoop and bake 8-9 minutes. Rotate the cookie sheets halfway through baking.
Remove your cookies from the hot oven and allow them to cool on the hot baking sheet for 5-7 minutes before transferring them to cooling racks.
Enjoy warm with milk!
