No Bake Cookies
These No-Bake Cookies have been passed down my husband’s family for 50 years! One pot and 10 minutes later, you have a beloved sweet treat!
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups oats
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder or dark chocolate cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line two baking sheets with wax paper or silicone mats (this is where the hot cookie “dough” will cool. Set aside.
In a large pot, add butter, milk, and sugar over heat. Bring to a boil, then stir while cooking for one minute.
Remove mixture from heat and immediately mix in all other ingredients.
Once thoroughly mixed, scoop hot mixture into cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Cool until set, then enjoy!
